    DIANE DUNN, RYT 200 ,began practicing yoga in Reno in 1980 and begin teaching in 2006. She currently offers classes on zoom.Her focus on the biomechanics and alignment aspects of yoga began in 2013 prior to knee replacement due to arthritis. She began studying Integral Yoga and then specialized in Yoga for Arthritis under Dr. Steffany Moonaz. She is currently completing her level III training. She did her mentorship under Ann Swanson, author of Yoga Anatomy, The Science of Yoga.

    Her classes offer a simple yoga with modifications for special needs and an emphasis on the biomechanics of yoga and the unification of mind, body and spirit. She encourages students to discover how to feel the poses in their own bodies, how to make the practice their own and how to integrate breath, movement and meditation in a way that can help manage the stress and chronic pain of living with arthritis or other chronic pain. It is not just for pain, it is a simple yoga that is appropriate for anyone wanting to learn how to work with their bodies in a healing way.
