Open to the community and all students at the West Branch Community Library, SPC. Each Wednesday, 11AM. We'll focus on postures for flexibility, strength and balance with the goal of improving activities of daily living and not letting all the time we spend in chairs get us down. We'll also be practicing breathwork and meditation for reducing stress. It's a wonderful community of yogis so come join us and have some fun.

North Shore Aquatic Complex every Friday 11:45-12:30. Aqua yoga is taking your yoga off the mat and into the pool. It's more accessible than traditional yoga and anyone can benefit from the shift in perspective working in the water brings. It's also super fun and you can't beat the view. You don't need to be able to swim because it's hard enough to build your balance and keep your feet on the pool floor.

YOGA FOR ARTHRITIS
Lorrie Denning is teaching an 8 week Yoga for Arthritis & Chronic Pain class. Lorrie is a Level 1 YFA Instructor, but has a background in Prime of Life Yoga (POLY) and in advanced Yoga Therapy (YTRx 500). She also is a certified chair yoga instructor.
This class will focus on proper postural alignment, increasing range of motion and gentle strengthening and stretching. Developing core strength and balance will be also be a focus of this class. You will also learn relaxation techniques to calm both mind and body. This is a mat class using props - blankets, yoga blocks, and chairs to provide support and comfort for the student.
